The plough is a quintessential English country pub with stunning views from our pond side garden over the Brede valley with the sea as a backdrop.
Situated less than two miles from the medieval town of Rye, we enjoy a fantastic larder of local produce, from the freshest of fish landed in Rye and Hastings every day, to the wonderful delights from the Romney Marsh. With all this on our doorstep, we offer a great choice of local beer, cider, wine and freshly prepared food.
WHAT'S ON AT THE PLOUGH
Come and join us from 5:30PM on Thursday 21st November for a gin masterclass with Chase Distillery. Their Oak-aged Sloe and Mulberry, Pink Grapefruit and Pomelo, and Rhubarb & Bramley Apple gins, alongside their Winter Warmer collection, will be available to try. These delicious spirits will need equally delicious pairings, so our executive chef Chris Baguley will be providing nibbles from the Plough kitchen.
Entrance is free, but spaces are limited, so please call or email to book your place. For more information please see our PDF that was attached this this month's newsletter here. Sign up below to keep up to date with what's going on at The Plough.
